How We Do it
Tween Youth Workshops
are an introductory theatre workshop for children ages 5-10 not yet ready for the stage. Our workshops have been newly revised and improved for 2008. The one week long workshops, facilitated by YSKP alumni, teach age appropriate theatre basics and explore individual and group talents. The group uses these experiences to create a short original work for friends and family. Creative expressions may include art and other set work, costumes, creating/writing/developing a role, playing a memorized role, singing, and movement. Our activities are linked to Ohio’s Fine Arts Standards for Theatre for grades K-2 (a link to Tween Youth Standards).
