Kim Kremer
Originally from South Bend, IN, Kim earned a BA degree in Psychology from Hanover College (1988) and an MS degree in Marriage & Family Counseling from Wright State University (1992). She began her career in mental health working in both outpatient and inpatient settings in Ohio, Hawaii, and Indiana where she provided individual, couples and group therapy to people with a variety of presenting problems. Her primary focus has been on the psychiatric end of the spectrum of services. She was also a Director of Outpatient Counseling Services which included the supervision of counseling staff, intake workers, and volunteers as well as grant management at the state and federal levels. She has worked with children, adults, and senior populations and created a domestic violence program within an outpatient counseling department. In addition, she has also been employed by nursery and garden centers periodically throughout her life. In 2001, she and her husband returned to Yellow Springs, OH to raise their two daughters. She has maintained the financial records for the YS Kids Playhouse since 2006 and the YS Arts Council since January 2009. Her niece and both of her daughters have greatly benefitted from their involvement in YS Kids Playhouse productions. She enjoys gardening, baking, photography and being a part of the creative process witnessed through the YS Kids Playhouse.
