Huma Bashir
Outreach Coordinator, Around the World in 80 Days
Huma is native Pakistani who has lived in the United States since she was 11. She graduated from Loyola University with a BS in psychology and biology and recently completed her Master’s degree in Counseling at the University of Dayton. Her commitment to cultural diversity and respect for differences has led her to serve on several international event committees in Springfield, such as CultureFest. She has also served on the Montesourri School and YMCA boards, and currently serves as President of the Clark County Medical Society Alliance. In her personal life, she is a member of the Miami Valley Islamic Center in Springfield, a Springfield resident for 10 years, and mother of 3 children, who have experience with YSKP’s program. She brings her unique skills, contacts, and experience to the outreach coordinator position for this project.
